thanks norbo, im having a lot of problems with the front usd front end, i cannot locate a top yoke and clip ons, from what i have found out, its a 45mm 4hw tzr125 front end , all the top yokes on ebay are for the 50mm 4dl import model, so im going to have to wait untill one becomes available somewhere. im not planning on fitting front end untill later this year, it will be a winter project, as i have to sort out taper roller bearings, shaft etc. i think im going to have to contact my local bearing dealer, and see what he can come up with, for my bearing measurments. the back end im planning on making my own swingarm, i have found a picture on the forum, cant remember if its this forum or not, but its an alloy tube arm, and im planning on making the same kind, but using steel tubing, this way its cheaper on materials and welding as i can weld it myself. i will upload a pic of the arm im going to copy the design of, anyway here are some more pics of the shock mount and battery box mostly there, shock mount jack up kit has moved the shock 40mm, which will give me a much higher back end, for the look i want. swingarm design i want to copy using steel tubing top shock mount jack up fabrication battery box now located in top frame rails heres some pictures of my barrel & head over haul. and my homemade 8mm reed spacer, which has since been polished to remove rough file marks, will probably nned to make another soon to accomadate nitrous oxide fogger thread cylinder head has since been blacked with pj1 black more to follow as i get time and progress further

Firts i hope your not going to fit that (cheep crap thai piston) i can see in one of the picks . Front end. A simple spacer will sorght out the bearings yopu need SSY 125 and you wont be able to get them from a bearing place sorry . Spondon 440 makes yokes and they are the very best quolity many clip ons will fit and if they are a little to small you can just have them bored out . . Fogger in to the reed spacer is a good idea. dont forget you will now need a twin out let tap or a 8mm single with a spliter on as you need a second feed for the nos fuel as well as the normal running fuel. That alloy swing arm was made by NK racing .

thanks for the help and advice norbo. could you possibly give me a bit more information on this ssy 125 spacer, is it a bearing set or just a spacer? if possible could you give me a link to what im looking for exactly? the nitrous fitting and fuel supply is already thought out, i have some some experience of fitting nitrous to bikes, and im grtting a lot of help from my friend who has done it many times, thanks for any help you or anyone else can give me.

Hey ferret79, why have you placed the reed spacer behind the reed valve? I thought the only reason you used them was to space the reed valve further out in order to get better flow up the boost port..

I would recommend getting the crank done and take it to PJ engineering in Birmingham. Have the rod and bigend changed for a YZ125 with the same rod length. The Big end is 1mm wider and has a silver coated bearing. Mines been in my tuned 170 for 6 years now and had lots of abuse too. I also fitted a whole clutch from the DTR125 as it has more springs and plates.

Hope he's alright. I had a look at his other posts and it seems he did indeed finish this, not completely but it was together and running.

A lot of guys come and go, for a variety of different reasons I would think. If you look through the members list, there are lots that were here but not anymore. Nice to see that thread though. I wouldn't mind doing a 125 special at some point Dusty
