I know it's not a Yamaha but hey, I do have a couple of PowerValves!😁
Guys, I'm trying to sort out the chain alignment on my CB900F hybrid.
I've fitted a Honda NC39 ally swingarm and a Suzuki Bandit 600 rear wheel and the chain alignments out by around 10mm, obviously I will measure it accurately.
I've got the Bandit sprocket carrier which is too wide and a GS500E which is too shallow,(there's 19mm different between the two carriers mounting faces)
I've thought about spacing out the sprocket on the GS500E carrier but not sure how safe that is so I'm thinking I need to have the Bandit carrier machined down.
Can any of you guys recommend who can do this for me? I'm in Essex if that helps but obviously I can post it if necessary!
Cheers.👍

If you get an exact measurement of how much you need removing I'd say any local engineering shop would do it for you for a small fee, however if you are stuck I can machine it down for you. Postage to and from me may cost you more than a local shop would charge.

Thanks for the offer mate, where abouts are you?
I'll see if I can find a local engineering shop first!👍
