Looking at an upgrade, a billet lock up clutch do any come with oil pump facility or do they all have to be pre mix? All Norbo seem to lose the oil pump.

Hi Gary Yes looking at the billet cover there isn’t the facility to run the pump I’ve had a message from Johnny about it. I’m not sure if Dave’s are different.

You can get some that use a modified standard cover which gets an extension welded on.

Thanks Rob. Just wondered if anyone did one with the oil pump I’ll speak to Dave see what his are like. I don’t want to lose the oil pump especially as it’s been set up properly by Gary.

If its practicality over looks then a stealth lock up goes under a standard case

I do need a lock up/heavy duty clutch and I fancied a billet cover. I could do the clear cover conversion I guess.

Tony I know I can’t justify/afford it. Johnny said I need to talk to you about it 😁. I’m open to the change and I need to think of the bling factor as well. Plus I was thinking of weight again 😁. Unless of course you know of one?

I had one like Norbo sells. Came with a bike project and spares. I did toy with fitting it - it was the Cafe racer/Tz Pv engine build; 20190303_165809 by dusty miller, on Flickr Certainly bling, but I didn't need a lock up but I did need the oil pump, so I sold it on. It may be possible, with some careful measuring and machining work, to retro fit a pump, but It would look crap I think and would rack up more £££ on top of the case cost.

That’s my thought Dusty. I do not want to go pre mix, whilst it may be possible to fit one to Norbo’s it’s more hassle that I don’t need.

the bolt/weld on kits were the way to go for this look i reckon, the full side cover is a banshee item hence the lack of oil pump.
Agreed window isnt racey, its bling but its amusing to own. no worse than so many other things we fit lol

Tim i did fit a stealth lock up clutch to a 4L0 engine and it worked very well for the sprint competition it was in. It was easily used for another 6 months after that on the road.
You would need to fit an YPVS clutch side casing and you can get away with light springs.
It still becomes heavy on the hand but that will be after a long period driving the bike constantly.

I only run 4 springs in mine, the lock up prevents slippage so get a lighter clutch action than if I run all 6.
If I had a more powerful engine I'd prob have to fit all of them.

I’m loving Darren’s response and although it’s a banshee fitting I assume they fit a std Lc motor.
