Yes it will fit Veg but you will have to trim it to clear the frame

As foxy said you need to trim the right side to match the Lc frame It’s not a lot 👍

Is veg asking about an LC cover on a YPVS engine or the other way around? Or YPVS engine in an LC frame?

YPVS cover doesn't have the facility to fit the clutch actuator so LC engine needs an LC cover I'm afraid

An LC engine needs a clutch push from the left hand case… so not provided for on a YPVS LH cover…

Aircooled E/F (cos of the Cdi pickup) side case fits too. It's Alloy as well May need trimming - not 100% on that

Thanks for all the advice chaps, I was having a few moments whilst waiting for the racing to start and contemplating what changes I’m going to do over the winter now I’ve put a fair few miles on the Lc. First thing is a set of Dave’s pipes but they need to match the Tz porting etc.

I’m surprised no-one has mentioned a hydraulic clutch conversion. I’m sure a YPVS stator cover could have one grafted in. I’m not on about the OEM plastic ones, but a billet cover. I assume that is what veg was interested in?

Jon it was actually looking at saving more weight by fitting a Ypvs plastic cover instead of the alloy cover, not bothered about it being a hydraulic clutch tbh.

I would definately chain drill the LC case then. If done right it would look the bollox and still be perfectly safe.

You need to find some one to make you a carbon fiber casing. Its easily done if they have a casing to use for making the mould. The problem is knowing the right person for the job Tim I would also paint it black for stealth reasons.

Completely agree dusty however the disadvantages of that is it doesn’t have the same bragging rights. Yes it is carbon and a one off actually has far more kudos when chatting than yep I saved 6 lbs this morning after having a big crap.

Yes it is carbon and a one off actually has far more kudos when chatting than yep I saved 6 lbs this morning after having a big crap. As mentioned before, very minimal weight saving, also I dont think that carbon suits the look on these bikes, but thats just me, very sorry! Veg, Save your money for much better things I did make tooling/molds for the YPVS side cover many years ago (2008/09) only ever made two side casings, one for my TZR as everything else is carbon then why not. The other for a friend in Brisbane. Very sorry before anyone asks, I am not making any as I am just far too busy, soz guys. As their isnt a market for this kind of thing as you can see the patio also needs weeding, good job you cant see the rest of garden FFS ! Best rgerads Johnny C.
