Well it kind of does, when you apply the brake it locks the caliper to the disc which stops the forks compressing. Was a big thing in the 80βs Kawasaki ran it on the Kr250/350/500/1000 race bikes Harris used it sometimes and the best Lc special ever the 7up now owned by Tom did

Yep looks better without the drops, keep the the pan on as the mood takes! When ya gonna sort them pipes, so much more potential in that motor π

This will upset some I know, but as the front brake is so fugly, why worry about the aesthetics of a belly pan. Sorry, itβs how I see it.

I know it's there but if it didn't have #7 written on it, it'd be invisible. May as well leave it Tim.

With belly pan and drops. Not a lover of the front brake setup or its looks but It's also good to be different.

Dont care. Just ditch that pig ugly Emma Freud inducing seat and put Mr Yamaha san's one back on. Have you shortened the wheelbase, or is it my eyes?

Thanks Tony. Steve I am going to change it back to a std seat as Iβm not a massive fan of it. The wheelbase is slightly shorter but it is mainly illusionary.

Thank feck. I can't stand that seat. Otherwise the bike is superb. And I really like the anti-dive.

love the brake
dont hate the seat
have to say the belly pan isnt horrible and with the other mods does blend, but without its leaner and meaner
love the normal bars
{throws a new restyle idea in the mix, since others have lol} rear light needs recessing...

I like the profile of the belly pan, Iβm just not sure of the busy graphics.
If I had to vote then Iβd say leave it on.
If I were doing it myself, Iβd only have the β7β decal on there (and maybe a bit lower down).
There is not enough panelwork on a naked bike to carry off a Sheene scheme (sic).
Just my opinion (you did ask).
