I know some of the parts on our bikes were used on other models and they had more useful parts books where all the parts were listed, weve seen this with brake parts etc. I was wondering if its the same with the Lc rear shock? The parts book looks like someone copied it from an earlier version and just left the selection of parts that include part 5 (its a bush and still available) off the final version. You can see that its quite obviously linked with the bump stop and that bush and yet doesnt have its own number for those parts. They all instead link to '2', which is the damper... which in the boxes dont all include those upper parts... I know as Ive got some here. hmm... they could have been robbed out, but it seems so unlikely as they are NOS just out of a dusty cupboard of a Yam dealer. Anyway, for clarity, the part I'm looking for is arrowed:

I have a few used OEM rear shocks if you need one for parts.

I actually have 2 but need to zinc them, which meant punching out the bushing and buying another one (still available)... which got me wondering if I could find the whole top NOS instead...
So, 'need' is a bit strong... I can make it work, but i was being lazy... rather than go to the plater (I need to find a new one since my last guy gave it up through ill health, lets not ponder that hmm) i thought i could shop for one lol
