Hello, does anyone have photos of RGV swing rear shock linkage with variable plates? I have the RGV conversion PDF but would like a closer and more visual representation. Also, I have two rear swings, suppposedly RGV both, but the black one(photo) is not like others I've seen, the dog bones are not attached the same way and its not banana shaped like the unpainted on the left Any suggestions on fitting the loose bones(from "conversion kit")? Last picture is from black swing

The unpainted one on the left looks like an original VJ22 swinging arm and is the type I have on my track bike. The other option is the banana-style swinging arm that also fits on a VJ22.

As above, early vj22 had the banana arm which had bearings and a sleeve to bolt the dog bones onto
Later vj22 had the braced arm (yours has been welded up with plates) and had a different pivot
Pivot and bearings was part of the dog bones and just bolted into the arm
NK racing do both kinds of fitting kits

Is the RD or RGV relay arm used? Cant find photos of the whole assembly with variable plates. Using the RGV arm, dogbones interfere with shock spring, I am doing something wrong

As per Yogi's pics you use the RGV shock and bottom linkage The ypvs relay arm is not used The NK kit uses triangular plates that bolt into the relay mount and centre stand mounts, reducers for the pivot bearings, the dog bones and top hats to make the RGV top shock mount fit You can see the 2 different kits from the NK site Steve

Pics of mine might help 👍 Matt 🐻🐶 Brilliant! Exactly what I am after. It all makes sense now, just missing a couple of bolts and sleeves. I have a few 210mm and a few of the shorter dog bones, but the braced ones I have is most likely standard at 170mm(pic #5 in original post), so those long ones from NK racing are what I'll need if I use the later swingarm. The kit I have looks like the first image of NK Racing kits below, only also with variable plates. Thank you very much

Has anyone done the conversion with the adjustable plates? I do find it difficult to keep them adjusted as they wont stay in place for long. Could it be I have not fitted them correctly or would a couple of lock washers do the trick?
