Hi, Morning, Im at that age now that im hunting for old work place pensions. I managed to find one, but they have kept in touch with me for years, the rest I have no idea about. I have always worked since leaving school, and would like to track these down. I found out at work, that there WAS a government site, that helped you track them down, I went to said site recently, but they no longer provide this service it says. I thought that perhaps with the age group on here, that someone could mabey point me in the right direction to make a start on hunting these old pensions down. Thanks in advance for any replies. Cheers, Steven.

Hi Rigga, Thanks for the reply. I was told by others, in the past, that there was a number you phoned, and they sorted it all out for you, thats what happened with the people I spoke to about it before who had done it. I cant seem to find anything like that, So I will have to have a go at it my self. Thanks again for the reply.

Have you not had any yearly statement, or are you trying to see whether you had a pension with these companies? Do you remember who you worked for.

Hi, I have only ever had any correspondence from the one pension mob, and that was a civil service pension from a gazilion years ago, they have always kept in touch. No other pension company has sent me any corespondence, but I haved moved house a few times over the years. Yes, I have all the details of when and who I have worked for over the years. I had a glance at the .gov pension site posted above, and was going to make a start at it soonest. Any pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Steven, I don't know if you have seen the service below. It's apparently paid for by the banks and building societies that use the platform. Have a look at their faq's, if you use it and have any thing to report good or bad, let us know. Who knows, you may get near the lifetime allowance of £1,073,100 😉, that's the total you can save under normal circumstances before charges etc. Good luck 🤑 www.gretel.co.uk/find-lost-pensions
