Last weekend, the daughter came up on a visit. We were talking about just how dirty her car was…. Anyways, to get the cleaning stuff out of the garage, main bike gets moved.
She wanders back in the garage looking for something or other, wanders out and casually says,
Hope you don’t mind…. Had to move that WHITE bike in order to get at the tyre shine……
Now then….. ever had a moment of shear panic?
Her Mum, back in the day had a habit of dropping my LC and the prospect of her gene’s carrying over was too much…. Went in the garage to see she had taken it off the mainstand, moved it and left on side stand.
Back when she was about 14, wife’s SV650 was outside with keys left in….. we heard it start and only to find said daughter riding it on the drive……..
Kid’s …..

Reminds me of an ex and a long time ago. She had a Mini and decided (for no apparent reason) to change the engine oil. Clearly she didn't know they had a filter...to my surprise (and with my tools) she undid the sump plug and drained out the oil into a catch tray. Well done. Then proceeded to add new oil. After more than 9 litres she noticed oil all over the road. Yep, she didn't put the sump bolt back in. Her 'cure' for all this was to put the bolt back in, then brim the engine to overfill and deny everything else. I still forgave her.

An old mate of mine as a kid repainted his dad's expensive new car for him, inside and out with oil based gloss. Unconditional love is an amazing device.
