Call me mad, but I'm really curious about these, anyone ridden one? When they were raced they were handicapped by 1.32 x engine size

I have 2
A '27 Super and a '28 Flyer.
The flyer will be at the LC club stand at Donnington in 2 weeks time, all being well.
It was also at Mallory today, but the wind has destroyed our tent, so we've decamped back home.

On the back of owning a 1932 Flyer I bought a Silk 700s.
I never got on with it, with the exception of the Silks brakes and lights I preferred the Scott.
It was not the Silks fault, it was low mileage and ran without any issues other than the weird gearing.
The Scott was just nicer to me.

Pre ww2 they were so successful in racing that they were handicapped by a factor of 1.32, meaning other bikes cc could be 1.32 times bigger!
