The LC fired up this evening after a full engine rebuild. Running 50:1 tank mix. Sounds great, really smooth and gears selecting. I was about to bleed the oil pump lines when I noticed the main oil tank feed pipe was leaking on the pump inlet union, despite having a genuine clip. Over the years it has swelled. I tried to cut it back, but now its too short. It a non- genuine pipe, which I tried to replace with a genuine one, but not available anymore. Where might I source a decent oil resistant pipe and the correct diameter? And what type of clips are you using because the Yamaha one doesn’t seem to clamp the pipe very well. I don’t want to use a cheap pipe which expands with heat and causes air bubbles. Obviously I need a pipe that is made to a certain specification like a hydraulic pipe. Advice and links very much appreciated. Have a great bank holiday weekend

How about this company . www.pvctubeonline.co.uk/hobbypro_yellow_petrol_tube.htm . I would look at the tygon tubing , though i have used the pvc tubing from the oil tank to the pump . It goes hard over the years though . Clips , a mate picked a selection up off ebay , they were the 3 spike type 2 one side with one the other .

I bought the oil hose that Nigel has linked for you. Fowlers had it in stock for next day delivery. It's genuine Yam and fits as it should. Wouldn't bother with anything else imo. Dusty

I got the clear lines off Norbo . At least you can see if it's getting oil or not . Light blue touchpaper.... I also run clear lines. You can see if they have oil in them, you can't see if the pump is moving any towards the motor. I bought yards of the stuff years ago. It goes hard after a few years, so I just swap it out for some more.

(Other than having Arrow work his Black Art on the pump ; )

He gave me some a while back, and I found it to be the best I’ve ever used. Will be buying some more when it runs out. Jon
