Hi chaps, just after your thoughts, I’m a fair way into a N2 hybrid build and was originally of the mind that I would keep all the standard components in case I ever wanted to convert it back. Now I’m not so sure, seem to have a lot of kit, suspension, brakes, too end, exhausts, wheels, clocks etc kicking about and I’m torn now between my original train of thought and selling them. Partly for space, partly for funds for the build and partly because I’d rather they were of use to someone rather collecting dust in my garage.
What’s the general consensus?

If you have the space and don't need the cash, i would keep them, you never know when you might need them, plus you can always sell later on.

I tend to think that if youre keeping the bike 'forever' then its best to let them go as you could be helping someone else get their project finished.

Unless it is absolutely what you want and you know that you'll revert back to standard and sell the non-standard bits then there is really no point in keeping the parts. The economics would say sell at current high values and demand. I believe that there are also weird people around who actually like the standard bits too and they are fetching very strong prices now. I know one particular idiot who'd buy your silencers.
