Hello, I found this damper in my parts bin, believe it's an Øhlins. Not sure if to rebuild it or get a new YSS or similar. Have tried it on a rolling chassis, jumping down on the seat it feels a lot better than the stock shock. What do you think? Run it as is, Rebuild(cost estimate), or buy new?

ride it until it bursts then get it rebuilt.. if it's not broken now, why spend the money up front?

I'd do a cosmetic refurb on it and re-use.

That's quite the colour scheme you've got going on there. Purple and yellow is sure going to catch the eye.

The Öhlins shall then be run! It does seem a bit soft though, maybe a stronger spring should be fitted? Have turned the tensioner ring quite a bit down And, is rebuilding something best left to professionals?
