May the (v) force (reeds) be with you. This thing is massive and took a long time (ago far far away) to build. Alex

Thanks dusty. It’s the old tamiya kit but altered. So it’s got Ypvs type wheels and forks, tz swing arm, removed the molded shock and replaced with a proper one with a spring, hoses are braided, made a speedo drive, cable and the rubber cable holder in the mudguard, most of the bolt heads etc are real scale bolts, all vales wiring etc is to scale, made hose clips on rad hoses, oil pump hose and cable with clear oil lines, ram Air filters are made from foam, discs are drilled out, the seat is 3D printed, pipes are a selection of tz or allspeeds it’s got a chrome rad cover and I made the rad to resemble an uncovered one . Put loads of detail into it then ran out of incentive when hasegawa launched a totally accurate kit . 😁

Did the wheels come from the RD500 kit Tim?

No they are the srx600 kit and the genuine bike the forks wheels brakes etc are the same basically as a Ypvs. The 500 had 16in front wheel.

I’m in contact with blue stuff decals who are a decal print company in France to copy the tamiya decals for the hasegawa kit so it can be built as an rd and also mars bar colours etc just waiting to a response from my latest email.

Added lock wiring in places etc etc it’s nearly finished I had to alter the exhausts they need painting then it’s done

F1 stuff. Please bear in mind all of these kits I'm showing were built years ago and are a bit tatty now. I am building something new though... Alex

Isn't it amazing? They had a genuine 1/12 scale tank and still bugger it up.

Do we have to tell you that the Yamaha transfer is too high on the bounty bike? 😁 Just got delivered 2 of these for £35 each www.hiroboy.com/112_Suzuki_Yoshimura_GSXR750_Model_Kit--product--11500.htmlIn the process of doing joeys castrol rc30, won’t be super detailed though. I’ve also just finished some Photo Recon spitfires, a dam buster lanc and a he111 and do17. Ww2 a/c are my other big thing.

From memory I have a mkI Spitfire, Hurricane, Mosquito, Messerschmitt 109e and a Junkers Ju88 to name a few. Jon

Big old kits I’ve only a few big scale kits hurricane in 1/24 and 1/32, lanc, b24,b17 in 48th and a few other 48th but I’ve always done 72nd however my eyes aren’t as good as they were and I’m leaning towards 48th. You started any yet? You really do need to get an airbrush for them.
