Those are so close to being a good copy… real pity they didn’t go the extra mile and sort a continuous curve in the rear sector… irrespective of how many rivets you count for breakfast …once you’ve seen it , you can’t un see it..!

Why is it so difficult for someone not to get the dimensions right? If you’ve gone to the trouble of getting a part remade, then the jig of an OEM one can‘t be that hard?

Is it the commissioner of the work or the fabricator? Say you order 50, the order is fulfilled then on receipt they don’t fit properly. What do you do? Recoup your costs? Scrap them? Obvs if we were talking sham bits you’d expect them to be shite

Always beware of a business that bigs itself up within its own name... its usually not as promised.
eg. I stayed at a Quality Hotel once in Leeds. Bullet hole in the window and jizz on the sofa... Obviously not Quality.
Another one to add to the list of shite products from this brand for whoever is keeping a list... brake hoses, kickstarters, etc etc

"Where's the mind bleach"? ..... Westminster, there's a limitless supply of it there as it's the main distribution point.

Being 'a bit wordy' I thought I'd look into the word Legend. Yeah, yeah... cue rolling of eyes... bear with me tho. I found this... I was sort of thinking of finding an antonym so we could use that word instead of the actual name to be 'amusing with a large dose of truth', kind of like Veg's use of 'Shambits' etc. What i found was actually more amusing, even the synonyms are kind of scary; including the words Saga and Fiction lol What is interesting from the antonyms is that while we dont always use it as such, Roget generally sees the term Legend as used for something that is just bigged up and not true, since one of the opposite words is 'truth'. ooops.

Anyway, no such thing as 'bad publicity' if you believe the old adage, so the fact we're talking about this company again is good for them I guess.

Lots of aftermarket suppliers aren't fussed about quality or a good fit, they are all about the money they can make, most of this stuff is poor copies of the original and made at the cheapest price possible in china or other far east places where labour and materials are cheap. I spent a while on engineering development at Cummins and as an example, a particular aluminium inlet tract for a 6 cylinder diesel engine cast made in the USA cost around $650 at the time, procurement sourced a test batch of 100 made in China at $102 each delivered, out of the batch all were deemed to require rework to make them fit correctly, bolt holes mis drilled etc, we then did some tests in the dyno rooms, out of 10 we randomly picked only 2 managed to do the job required, the rest either cracked, distorted or failed in some other way.
You get what you pay for springs to mind on so many occasions where I see something at a bargain price against the norm...
