I only knew it was there as The Motorbike Show often ends up there filming . Henry lives nearby apparently. They dont restore the cars - they just deal in buying and selling them, but are more than happy for you to wander round and have a look. There is a back lot where a lot of owners clubs meet up too. They used to deal in bikes but mainly cars now. There were a few bikes dotted about inside though - a very original Mv Agusta 750S America was tucked behind some cars, and a few others including a nice Norton. Ablington, Cirencester, Gl7 5FF. Off a little country lane surrounded by fields. They were keeping a watch out for the combine harvester on the field opposite. When it gets close they have to shut everything down due to the clouds of dust coming off the field !! Dusty

:)Ohh a lovely Griff in the pic as well... lovely! And the fastest colour too Agreed on the cobra price, if it is an original, that seems low.

I know nothing about classic cars, but it had been converted up to a 427 ??, then back to it's original cc (cant remember what that was)

Hmm. Originals had the 7 litre (427 cubic inches) lump. 410 bhp. In a car that weighs nothing that must have been pretty lively!

More hmm. P'raps Shelby started with the smaller motor and they just got bigger and bigger? They are fantastic things though. When you think the AC Ace was an old British sports car with an engine from a Bristol car that was pre-war in design shovelling a whopping V8 into it was either a stroke of genius or utter madness!

He's polarising for sure, but I don't mind him as let's be honest, we don't exactly have a huge amount of dedicated bike shows to watch.
Thought this series was good, Millyard isn't exactly the best on screen persona but he can twiddle a spanner to the extreme, so I'll forgive him his wooden performance on screen. The kettle resto was good, and each episode had interesting segments .
Support it or lose it, there's nothing else to replace it.

Been a Henry Cole fan for many years . Personally i think he's very entertaning to watch. Loved the Motorcycle journeys as well. If you haven't read his book "A Bikers Life" it is well worth a read.

Motorcycling 'lifestyle' type programmes are well underrepresented on mainstream telly in the UK so I really enjoy seeing anything bike related, I don't mind Henry Cole as he comes across as genuinely keen to promote motorcycling in all its forms. Keep up the good work Henry

I did pick up on Alan Millyards bike when he went for a ride with henry on his kettle. It was a kwak S1 but he had added another cylinder and fitted yam LC cylinders making it 500cc, making about 70 bhp. Sounded nice.
Maybe should have put 350s on in place of the 250s? 700cc ,whats not to like.

Definitely a Marmite character, watched one of his interviews about the Motorbike Show, he was approached at the sametime that he was thinking of how to plug a gap on TV about biking….
You can see from watching the early days of the show it was a bit cringeworthy, but credit to the guy, the programme has matured into quite a watchable programme for non riders….
Sam Lovegrove needs to come back, he was the only one to keep ‘Enerey in check!

Was just watching the live H&H motorcycle classic auction and the Suzuki kettle that was restored in the latest series just went for £14K, the power of TV personality I guess as the estimated price was between 9K - 11K.
Interesting that a few of the 2 strokes on auction didn't meet their reserve...
