Oil pump and oil pump worm shaft need changing too to suit at same time.

Oil pump and oil pump worm shaft need changing too to suit at same time. Isn’t a 350 YPVS worm and shaft the same as a 350 LC? Surely it’s a 250/350 difference rather than a YPVS/LC difference? Jon

Jon Correct. But the question was about 4L1/4L0 interchangeability, so when switching 4L1 (250) with 4L0(350) top ends or vice versa you need to to also fit the correct pump and worm.

I think 29L has different reed gaskets to 31K... I think they may be the same as 4L1/4L0.

I think 29L has different reed gaskets to 31K... I think they may be the same as 4L1/4L0. yes-ish, its said the ypvs 250 reeds are better than the 4L0 and used by racers in 4L0s etc. Bear in mind that the 250 also has different PVs as well... same castle seals, but different O rings and holders. Different manifolds too. ... As per the Dejan's original question, yes swapping to the 350 version is the same idea as for the later models.

That's a 'firm no', as has been said.
