If it's the last part you need to finish your perfect resto then you will pay what it takes.
I paid £160 for a NOS fuel cap for a Kwaka this year.

You’d have to be committed to your resto to spend over 3 grand on a set of pipes…….

I paid £75 for mine about a year ago. Tatty dented early 250 pipes but the right price for me. I'm prepared to spend a lot of hours making them good. I'm not prepared to spend £3,000 on a set. My originals from the brand new LC I bought in 82 were put back on for racing. When I touched them down we'd bash the scrapes in with a hammer to give a bit more ground clearance and then repeat. I guess that's why a pair like these are selling for so much.
