Hi all,
Does anyone know the genuine part numbers, but more importantly how many of each type are needed for the sidecase screws both side on a YPVS.
It isn’t clear from the fishe.
I could probably work it out at the weekend, but wondered if anyone had this data already?
TIA
Jon

I think all the new fixings are black and not the original olive green the Yamaha sell.

They’ve also got a wired what looks like a recess half way down the thread by the looks of them?

Perhaps the recess, if unthreaded, is to stop the screw chafing the covers, particularly on the left side as it's plastic

Did a load a few years ago and nobody mentioned anything, I'll need to check the ones I have No point throwing money away for nothing as have to buy around 1000 screws to make it viable Here's a pic from the supplier Steve

🤔 I'll have to check some genuine screws
I wonder if the new genuine ones have the dimple, I'll have to check what I've got as probably got some original genuine ones but can't remember a dimple but hey I've got Magoo eyes 😆
Yes a hammer And centre punch but don't know if I fancy doing 1000 of them

I thought the dimple is what signifies them as JIS screws, rather than plain old Philips screws?

There are some exceptions with particular nuts and bolts but generally the info is in the number Steve
