Hi all, I have just recommissioned this bike as it has been sat for 2 years (yes, in a barn) it's tidy and very use able and the owner wants me to sell it but to be honest, I have absolutely no idea what it's worth so hoping someone here can give me some guide lines. All it wants for is a choke cable assembly. I have a pull one mounted directly on the carb at the moment.
Any advice or offers appreciated.
Bike is in Essex, just by j7 m11.

Brand new they are about £4,750. There are a few on Ebay and the cheapest £2,400. My advice would be to look on there and other selling sites and pitch it close to a similar one to this one.
My approach to four stroke moto-cross bikes to my lad was "when you're buying it and paying for maintenance you can have one." He had a ride on a CRF450 and a YZF450 a couple of times and loved them but we stuck with the YZ250.

I’ve rebuilt a few of these over the years. They don’t have a choke cable. They have a hot start cable that goes to a lever on the clutch lever. The choke has a small pull head on it on the left side of the carb. Did you get it running. They are prone to the exhaust valves tightening up which makes it a biaatch to start. Other than that they are a good bike. Fast and fun
