I’m half way through reading the Haynes RD350LC/YPVS book. While it’s an interesting read I can’t believe the amount of mistakes in it.
I’m writing them down in true anorak fashion. I’ll let you know how many I’ve found once read, unless another anorak beats me to it.

I do remember it saying something about the swing arm spindle being an engine mount too, did confuse an 18 year old me who was taking engine out for the first time!

One I got caught out was a crank main seal orientation, pic was wrong, but the blurb was correct. Sooo obviously being a bloke, looked at the pic and carried on with the rebuild Doh!!!

Isnt Jon referring to the Phil West book not the Manual*?
* - Known for decades as 'The Haynes Book of Lies' to me and my mates lol
