Bike is nice. But it really needs a whole new body kit. It’s just all wrong. Fugly.

I love reading bike advert descriptions. They can tell a lot about what the seller knows about a bike.
Is a prospective buyer really going to be swayed by the fact the description includes “ Chrome Steel Exhaust Springs 93mm “ ?
“ Handmade Alloy Support to secure exhaust “ no billet machined support? Just a part that looks like a hand bent up bracket?
Also “ Runs 32:1 premix “ how long is that going to last?
It’s honest description as a race bike, but misleading it states V5 present as its for a different bike based on “ Comes with original full frame and V5 logbook “.

I don’t think you would be able to mot it as nowadays the testers check the frame number

I don’t think you would be able to mot it as nowadays the testers check the frame number Should have a frame number. All the original YZR Harris bikes were stamped with a 5 digit number and this does look to be a much modified original frame.

Ahh I see thanks so it should be able to be road legal 👍😀 As I said though the V5 that comes with it is likely to have come from the doner original frame that came with it. Unless the original Harris numbers have been removed and the doner frame numbers stamped they won’t match the V5. Jon

Could be! My own Harris had the HPxxx number on the v5 but I can’t remember how I managed that, lost in the mists of time!

Dont like the seat unit way to big and i dont think the paint helps the looks . Also have you seen the wedoing on them pipes and the end cans look cheep . I do like the bike however just needs some stuff doing to it . But it all so says rd500 engine and carbs so by that i assume its running standatd carbs and thats crap for a race bike or even just a tuned up road bike

i have a set of swarbrick pipes and the welding is 100 times better. there is no way mr swarbrick has done those, i would suggest the owner bought the pipes in kit form and got his cat to weld them up.
