Sent Dave a YPVS head with damaged domes Just got it back 😀 Domes recut, face skimmed, squish set to 1.2mm, and o ringed Water jacket will be sealed with silicone No more head gaskets, happy days Steve   |

looks good!when you say the water jacket will be sealed with silicone ,are you just going to run a bead around it?I'm intrigued lol

Did Dave supply O rings with the head ?, I have a head that has been done but I need O rings. Yes he supplied the rings From memory the 385 ones are Viton Just measure the ID of the groove and the width of the groove Plenty on eBay Or buy Fit in cord and glue up your own Steve |

How thick are your barrel gaskets ?
And how do you torque the head up? I did the same as oem with my oringed head.

head has been machined assuming stock base gaskets at 0.5mm thick (when compressed)

Did Dave supply O rings with the head ?, I have a head that has been done but I need O rings. yes I supply the O rings etc with the heads I do, but unless your head was done by me, it is most likely a different size, alot of companies use "imperial" O rings, I use metric ones, so you have to measure the ones you have, or the groove in the head to work out which size you need |
