Nice hybrid but I'm not seeing the connection to Pro-Am.
A Pro-Am homage LC would be just an LC with belly pan and handlebar fairing wouldn't it?
Maybe number boards. Blue ones.

Im with you Steve.... and ...Surely to be a Pro Am anything it would need to have the Pro Am belly pan and handlebar fairing wouldn't it? Its just a race bike rep.... a nice hybrid one, but does not shout pro am to me.

Description amended for the pedants ๐ The guy himself describes it as a homage to Pro-Am. I don't think anyone here is being pedantic. To be fair though when a journalist does a piece about a motorcycle after visiting the owner/builder they don't alway transfer the spoken work to writing with 100% accuracy.

I bet a good condition pro am bike would show this bike a clean set of heels on the track.

There was some talk of one of the bike mags gathering a few modded LC/YPVS's together and doing a big test and write up. Maybe the owners were not keen on finding out if the "improvements" added up to anything measurable or were purely looks. There was a guy at Cadwell doing 2 minute laps on what looked like a bog standard LC 250 at a Classic Bike Track Day. There were plenty of guys on modified 350's, RGV250's and RG500's going a lot slower. He could ride the thing well.
