This is one of the strangest adverts I’ve seen on eBay. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193391067455?hash=item2d0701813f:g:Z3kAAOSwPt9eYqVLFrom a reputable supplier so it seems. Item in the U.K. but postage of £47.27, the same price as the foam. Then a load of French on eBay U.K. Colour black? Photos taken 14 years ago? Manufacturers part number MORLC. Really? I wasn’t aware these were ever available from Yamaha. Maybe they mean the seat foam makers number? Jon

Looks like his advert for the French market. He also has one listed for the German market, but none showing for UK.

Part number MORLC will probably refer to Bob the seat's website being Morretti

Ive said previously, but bought seat foams for P&K and Webike (Daytona) and both fitted like a glove* to the LC base.
* - English language fails me here as its too early... Ok, a cover would 'fit like a glove'... im not sure what analogy 'fits like a foam to a base' lol.

Can you fit one if you are "all thumbs"?

I've used Norbo's foam on both a 4LO and 31K. They both fitted well and worked perfectly.
Also used Bob the Seat on many occasions. Lovely chap and always a great service.

Would be good to start a thread of recovered seats to show off the work

recovering a seat really isnt that hard lol. Of you hate the idea find a trimmer, they wont be too exy if you supply foam and cover. I had a custom over with custom stitchin and seat foam cutting on my XT500 and it was only about a hundred quid here.

One thing I see a lot is lumps on the sides
Don't know what's going on there
A centre strap would cover it though

I bought an LC seat cover off Norbo, took it to D Haden Upholstery in Walsall the other week, and he only charged me £20 to fit it, including some extra work to the seat foam as well, turned it round in 2 days, I was well happy with the results....well recommended in my opinion.

Doesn't take long at all and pretty satisfying.
