Hi, long shot i know but wondering if anyone has plans to travel from the Brandesburton area and will pass Chester at all? Im looking for help in picking up a an F1/2 YPVS fairing and dropping it off at my folk's place so I can avoid the seller having to wrap it and it not get destroyed in the delivery etc. Forumers always treat this stuff better than anyone else I know as we know what things are etc. No massive hurry as in doesnt have to be this weekend etc All and any help very much appreciated.

hahah, thanks John. I appreciate the reply, very good of you mate. January is better than I can hope to be in the UK to do this run myself, we are currently barred from leaving the lucky country and i dont think flights will be affordable in the short term. Would love to see my family and meet up with some mates from on here, the thought of that is what keeps me going through lockdown.
...up to 195 'looks' now. lol.

If anyone from that area travels to Manchester(Urmston) I can move it on to Chester.
I trek over to Little Sutton every 2/3 weeks.

If it works out that way I'll wrap it in newspaper...you can only remove one layer of it 😁

Just wanted to update this old thread and say 'Thanks!' Short story: Last weekend the fairing was dropped off by a friendly forumer and for his efforts I wanted to give public thanks: Thanks John! Longer version: I always say that Forumers treat parts better than anyone else I know as we understand what the parts are and John not only collected and looked after this haul for me but also very kindly dropped it off with my parents. To say that I am appreciative of his efforts is a huge understatement, this was truly going the 'extra mile' not least with fuel is priced through the roof. Going that far for someone youve not physically met, only read posts from and chatted to on the internet, is something very special. I think we are very lucky as a forum to have such wonderful people on board who act in the community spirit and help people out, even when they are thousands of miles away. Of course this isnt the first time someone has done something generous for me, in fact i know many of us help eachother out on here daily and that is something you just dont see everywhere; Proper 'Community' with a capital C. Im thankful for all the help Ive been offered and given over the years, without your help my projects would never have got as far as they have. Thanks you guys! Ive always said that I am very lucky to be part of such a great bunch of people. There certainly exists a bond between many of the lads on here that is rare to find. How well we gel now reminds me of the loose crowd of upstarts we all were back in the day hanging out, riding around, talking BS sitting outside the chippy etc etc. I dont think weve grown up much (when i look out of my eyes im still 18, even if im not 18 to look at lol), we retain that bond for sure. All that said, I just want to also say that many people have helped me out over the years as being abroad its not always easy to get parts for projects and every time it is very much appreciated. Thank you all and especially John who is a true Gent. Thanks mate!
