Hi all,
I have a question about the length of an LC and YPVS sump plug which I believe are different?
Which is which?

I think ypvs is long. It blocks the hole from the clutch case side

As far as i know they are all the same size and block the holes as mentioned above

OK so what length are they as I have 2 different lengths that were removed from various RD cases (LC and YPVS).

I've seen a good few shorter once but since it seems they are the same part number suggests they are not original

Just had a look and yes from LC through ypvs the part number is the same
But...
It is superseded. The first part of the number is identical so exact same style and colour usually. The second bit after the M14 thread size is different which suggests a length change
Old part ends 10, new one is 132
So if they changed it to a longer length why was that
Did they want to stop the free flow of oil out the clutch case.
Only way through is via the shift drum bearing with a longer bolt
