Just seen something on the A/C forum about throttle cables and I wonder if it might help us LC lot. We all know that pattern cables are useless but is this just down to a design flaw in the collector (the tube where all 3 cables meet)? If so perhaps a certain designer of 3D printed gizmos could come up with something...

The AC cables are all seperate arent they with a collector that comes apart without destroying itself?

I thought it was the fact the oil pump cable was the wrong length?

Yes the collector comes apart and if it's the oil cable that's wrong then my idea has also come apart Alex

IF ?? willing to invest the time and effort. One Can DIY a MUCH better throttle cable assly. Than even OEM yama truth be told. Using the MUCH higher quality cables typically found in Bicycle shops. This can be a Very smooth almost frictionless Cable setup. Plus you can trim it to the Exact lengths your Bike needs. Reuse the Yama splitter .. If it's healthy it's not a problem item.
