But there is the clause about modification done within the first 10 years
Surely that along with it still being a Yam 347 twin should be fine
I'd also think that a cop or VOSA employee would struggle to clarify anything is out of place

"Acceptable changesIt does not count as a ‘substantial change’ if:Changes are made to preserve a vehicle because the original type parts are no longer reasonably availableAxles and running gear have been changed to improve efficiency, safety or environmental performance"My interpretation of that is that you can do pretty much what you lik e ( just don't shout about it )

I don't think there's an issue having a hybrid on historic, and i know one very well known one, with zip paintwork has been reclassified already, but obviously in the future, should there be any incident /insurance claim, that's the acid test.

Mine's on historic but there's nothing on the V5 to suggest that it has a YPVS engine fitted, only engine number and CC.

After all a YPVS is just a more up to date version of the LC. They are both RD engines with the same engine fitment dimensions.
