Got given a can, it's perfectly adequate.

The best option for chain lube is EP90 gearbox oil. It's what the chain manufacturers recommend.

Tried it as an alternative to Wurth simply because I saw it on offer.
Found it good, non fling and having inspected the chain before the MOT and summer prep recently, it seems good.
Not that it does a lot of miles but I would say it is worth the money.

Chainsaw oil going on the chain next time. Anything is better than boil in the tin, wax... balanced precariously on a camping stove...preying that you dont spill it again and spending the next half hour picking the detritus out of it once it had cooled on the yard flags.

Or in in your dads kitchen, desperately trying to clean the spillage off the floor before he came home when the hot tin fell off the stove . They say the old days were great They weren't.

I love the old tin can! But I use it in the workshop and I have learned to avoid (most) spills. I used chainsaw oil on the DT 175MX, but that bike was always dirty.
