looking at buying a suzuki x7,, on mot check it comes back as blue 250 correct mileage and correct date of first reg ,, then go on mot history it says suzuki ts 400 same reg and mileage anyone had anything like this before thanks ....

Run away as it's well dodgy,, two different bikes on the same reg?? One of them is dishonest let's say,, something is not right either way,,, it's a no from me,

Surely the only way that can be legit is if the reg on the x7 was transferred from the TS for some reason
Pay a couple of quid for an hpi check to check the VIN and it should flag if reg has been changed

The only genuine reason I can think off is one of the bikes was written off or a total insurance lost the reg is then surrenders back to dvla after a period wich dvla do not disclose it is then put back into recuculation for year appropriate vehicle. But the fact it still shows on two separate bikes I would deff hpi check and still I wouldmt waste my time for an X7 it's as dodgy as dell boys market suitcase,,

update on my original question the seller contacted dvla turns out a mot tester had put ts 400 on mot as bike had no model shown on log book now this has been rectified on log book the mot history now states gt 250 .. happy days..
