Got Dave’s number if you want it Steve? It's fine, I've just message Nigel The shock brackets look quite straight forward but my concern is whether it sits central in the cbr Steve

Turns out the swing arm is as straight forward as the RGV conversion
The issue is using the nc23 wheel
The hub is very wide and the sprocket carrier has the sprocket mounted in board so nowhere for it to go
Wheel needs machined and a whole new carrier made
Gulp 😰
And front doesn't have a Speedo drive

Welcome to my world mate 😁. Every change is an engineering challenge. It isn’t going to be a cheap upgrade.

Even better 😁 I’m sure last time I was at Nigels he was doing one? Good thing is he should have all the cad files saved so should be easier and cheaper. It’s when he does one offs it gets expensive, I know from experience 👍

He will also like the fact it’s not another rgv hybrid 😁

It's £415 to convert the arm so by the time the wheel and carrier are made it's most likely going to be the thick end of a grand for a wheel I can't get a decent tyre on
Its a 4.5 rim so supposed to be a 160 tyre which won't go in an LC without stretching the frame
And I couldn't use LC clocks as no drive so the wheels are dead in the water.
Waiting on measurements on the arm to see if viable
For the money it would cost I could buy a nice metmachex stretched arm with slotted adjusters 🤔

Steve I did the koso clock conversion in the Lc binnacle with a magnet in the disc to get round the clocks problem. The bigger issue as you say will be the 18 in rear, does the gull arm wheel fit the tri arm? Or is that 18 inch? Doing what dusty amongst others have done using a metmachex negates the problem but then you lose the nice tri arm and you’ll not need to use the 18 in rear . Never an easy solution 👍

Oh and if the std clocks are decent you know what they sell for, get new clock covers and koso units for less than the value. 👍

New faces, converted to miles and original mint UK spec cases Steve
