I’ve seen some very impressive restorations and hybrids on this forum, but I’m wondering how often does your RD or other classic 2 stroke see the light of day.
Just for fun I thought I would try a poll to find out the general usage of our bikes.

You’ve missed out the ‘are you mad it’s an investment’ option and the ‘I regularly sit on it in the garage and go bram bram whilst twisting the throttle’

I ticked the never ☹
Not because it's too nice or may blow up
Just when I get free time I work on them

I tend to build rather than ride. 2 prolapsed discs in my back means even sitting on them hurts Dusty

If you don't think the options apply to you, how you would categorise yourself? Also on the never option, there are so many reasons why you can't or don't get out anymore I tried cover the general reasons.

All to specific above for me. But generally all year round. Only exceptions being snow or if we’ve had a long cold spell and there’s loads of salt on the roads and that’s only because I hate cleaning bikes.

Does it have to be an RD?
How about 'your bike' instead as I ride mine every chance I get. Sod the weather.

Most weekends, pretty much every week of the year, though a bit less in summer because it's too hot and humid most of the time.😁

Also on the never option, there are so many reasons why you can't or don't get out anymore I tried cover the general reasons. The first option you put, would always be a very low number when asked on any classic vehicle form I feel because most folk don't want to use an old vehicle as their daily driver period. I do ride mine all year round, cold and rain doesn't put me off so much, I draw the line at ice/snow though. There's no point in owning a vehicle if you don't actually use it in my eyes,.... unless you want to start a museum.
