Seen it done although not sure of the details. Only problem is you lose the temperature gauge.

Will the speedo and tacho fit in LC casings? I want to put a tacho into an LC casing.

The biggest problem I see is that the tacho connections go through the back case
As in there are threaded tabs on the rear of the tacho that sit on the inside with the screws to hold the ring terminals going through the case
It should be possible, especially with one of Al's new cases
In sure the Speedo fits as the same mechanism

I should have written LC clock face YPVS electronic tacho I think the face screw holes are different Just sold a set of lc2 clocks that had a ypvs elec tacho with an lc2 face and the screws did not line up so it had been glued on Should be able to drill the metal on the tacho to match the face although it may be plastic I've had a few in bits. Mounting the temp gauge may be an issue Also be very careful removing the ypvs needle. The pin it locates onto tends to pull out the instrument instead of the needle Dont ask me how I know 😫 Steve

This is for my mates hybrid, as he has some YPVS/RD500 kmh clocks in his stash. Sounds like it may be safer to leave them as KMH clocks.
Will get a set of LC clocks out and try swapping bits around...

The Speedo needle comes off just the same as an LC one but at least the needles are more robust
Its the tacho that the needle is tricky

I pulled the tacho needle off and it came with the pin and trashed the innards. Only remove them if you have to is my advice.
