Does it make any difference if there gen yam or not?one of mine has snapped so I need to buy a set ,thanks

ive used norbos coloured ones on many builds with no probs at all,they come in black,and there also available on yambits,

As long as the inner cable and outer sleeve is the correct length then I don't think it matters which cable manufacturer you use, unlike some other cables. If the inner / outer is wrong you'll never get the valves adjusted correctly.

I actually made my own using mountain bike gear cables from Ebay, work out really cheap too. As above, as long as they can be adjusted within the required range they will be fine. The only tricky bit was making nipples the right size to fit the recesses in the valve pulley. I cut the plastic insulation off some electrical terminals and crimped them on.
