The eurocarparts one was £11.99 The ebay ones were both less than £7 delivered!
Will have to try to get the spec for them...

I get stuff on sale or return from ECP. I’ll get one and check the resistance at ambient temp and 100c, compare it to my YPVS one and report back here.

Might be optical illusion, but they look to have the YPVS style tapered thread.

I saw these last week, and wondered if they might work. I did think the 'colour coding' had something to do with the resistance range. Hence 'our' LC's needed to be green versions like the Landrover replacement we use (300 Tdi) also a few quid but with the round connector.

At least it shows there are more options available, and hopefully we can find a good one with a spade fitting. The taper fitting should still work, but could be rethreaded if needed.

So, I did the comparison and the short answer is yes, I think they would work. Good enough for me anyway. The ECP part will sit a little higher in the head but I don’t see that as a problem and the spade terminal is a a standard 6.3mm width rather than the narrower one that Yamaha use. That can easily be filed down a bit if you’re using the original Yamaha wiring terminal. flic.kr/p/2kiEQrN , flic.kr/p/2kiEQhK , flic.kr/p/2kiEh5c , flic.kr/p/2kiEQkF

Great work! Maybe worth trying to cut the thread back to a straight thread.

Hi, bought a Land rover sender which had the bullet connector . I removed the spade from a red insulated connector and soldered it to the sender ,works ok .

Anybody confirm these land rover senders fit without any modding? www.ebay.co.uk/itm/142592520406? They also sell same thing with a black insulator but an earlier post said green was the one to get, anyone got more details?

Yes they do have one on mine, AMR1425 green top, just need to make up a short lead as it’s a bullet connector ( saves chopping your wiring )
