I have bought some matching numbers crankcases, a new genuine crank, full genuine oil seals , gaskets and had a rebore by pjme , and am wondering whether ti replace the gearbox bearings aswell, how easy are they to fit ? Do the old ones need a bearing puller to remove? How do you refit them? Tia jon

I always change the selector drum bearing too. Probably overkill, but I do it anyway๐

I had the Fondseca bearing set too which is a great deal as the double row bearing that fits behind the clutch basket is super expensive just on it's own from Yamaha

You can buy an upgraded double row for the output shaft from a normal bearing place, its not silly money either. I always fit them now, especially on anything with extra power.
