We used to check out the performance of our bikes on a road in the Goonhilly Downs. It was a long undulating road with a crossroads in the middle.

If you weren’t so Ballymena with your Ballymoney you’d have enough to buy a Ballycastle for your Ballyholme
That’s where I’m from Ballyholme, 40 years ago mind you

Just watch out for the Cornish hedges and badgers crossing the roads.
Its Cornwall so remember someone turns the Sun off in November and turns the wind and rain on until March. I lived between Newquay and Padstow for five years, 87 - 91.

I,m not far at Saltash also have an F2 and an R1-Z. As you will/have found the roads get really busy during the summer. The road Tobyjugs mentions "Antony to Polbathic up to Terulefoot " is nice but the surface has deteriorated of late and is rough as hell in places, it was a typical cheap top dressing exercise that soon got ruined. Should see you some time when the weather allows.
