Blimey, that's bad news Wasn't there an Andy Bush that did paintwork ? Seems a familiar name. Just hope the break doesn't compromise his spinal cord. If he's lucky he could make a full recovery as long as the break isn't in the wrong place (not that there's a right place !) All the best to him Dusty

He is going to Oswestry for rehabilitation He says he has some early signs of movement , so fingers crossed
I think Gibsons sponsor his racing but not 100% sure

Sort of puts what's important into perspective... especially on this day. Lets all hope he gets the attention and treatment during the covid shutdown. Not the sort of news that's easily dealt with, headcoats.

Broke my back in 2 places many years ago and missed damaging nerves by a millimeter. Bloke the week before me had same accident but ended up quadriplegic. Sometimes you're lucky and sometimes you're not. Very good to hear he has some movement returned, hope he makes a full recovery. It'll be a long road but it's possible.

Couple of lads broke their backs when I was racing mx 30 years ago, one whilst I was on the start line waiting for my race, he'd been into rd's too, had a couple of big road crashes, and got away with them, small crash off road got him in a wheelchair, as said luck of the draw if it does major damage or not.
Best wishes to your mate.

That's awful, hope he make a full and speedy recovery. Your body's fantastic is fixing its self, but unfortunately it take longer, the older you get. Wish him well.
