I know it’s the norm to o-ring heads on big bore kits but I’ve recently picked up an autisa 175 kit and the barrel has been o-ringed, and strangely only on the outside. What’s the best way to tackle this? Get another ring cut around the sleeve and run two o-rings and a bit of 3bond on the water jacket and use rubber o-rings or get a copper gasket and use welding wire instead of rubber for the o-ring gap? Also trying to find a 67.75mm piston. The barrel has been “topped and tailed” to accept a dt/it 22.50mm crown height piston. I’m struggling to find one bigger than 67.5mm. Has anyone ran a blaster 200 piston? Thanks

I run my autisa with a copper gasket to ensure correct water flow.if you remove the gasket basically the water wont flow round the head it will take the path of least resistance and go directly out of the outlet pipe.i also run an o ringed head and cylinder with the gasket sandwiched between this has cured my water leaking issues.you will also need a large volume head cutting or it will never run cool enough
