Tracey's 350LC has just started to develop some clutch slip.
What's the general consensus on the best replacement clutch (plates and springs) on a standard engine 350LC. It's in standard tune other than Large Can Allspeeds, Pod Filters and jetting to suit.
I don't want to be putting anything unnecessary in like heavy duty springs, as I don't want the clutch lever operation any heavier than it needs to be.
Cheers

If standard then just an ebc clutch plate set and standard gen springs

Completely agree, did my original clutch on the F2 recently as it started slipping at 22,000 miles. Standard Yamaha springs from Fowler’s and EBC plates. Works and feels perfect just like the original.

IF buying fresh Frictions It's Klever to fit the larger sized frictions intended for a Yama FZ600 (and many others). Exact fit and these give a 25% larger friction surface. There are Zero downsides to fitting these.

Bare's made a good point with the Kevlar.

Wish I'd measured before I'd fitted but just fitted an EBC drc043 to my ypvs
Made for the banshee which has no rubbers so in hindsight I wish I'd checked if they were wider
Comes with frictions, steels and 15% stiffer springs

Should I be buying a kit from you Dave ? lol I look at it like this; It might be a little more expensive to buy the parts from Norbo or Mutts then somewhere on the internet, but you are supporting the people with the expertise that can't be bought on the internet. If they go bankrupt they will not be available to help you when the shit hits the fan.

I bought my last clutch kit from Dave - cheaper than anywhere on the net I might add😉 And I absolutely agree, support Dave, Norbo, Martin as often as possible. They are all brilliant to deal with and often the best, price wise too😉
