After Dusty's inspired idea on the Facebook pics section, what three (3 only) bikes would you buy with a lottery win? No need to include an LC as that can stay in the garage along with 3 others.
Mine would be
Kawasaki Z900
Suzuki Katana
Ducati 916
Alex

Britten V1000 because because because!!! Yamaha tz750 flat tracker kenny roberts Either my dads first Triumph T120 1960 because that's where my love affair with bikes started, i remember the stories, i have the pictures or My first Rd250lc because it was the first bike i couldn't sleep for, i used to wake up early just to go and ride it, i will always remember getting on it, turning it on turning the fuel on, pulling the choke lever out putting the footrest up and kick starting it. Warming it up as it broke through the initial cold start then it went waaaahhhhhh. Fabulous.

I'd buy all the bikes I never bought along the way of life along with all the ones I had too. I'd certainly finally get that ZX9R I never had when i went from 6R to R1 etc. In fact I'd probably buy a nice one of all the bikes I wanted from the 80s through the 00s and do my own road tests using my private track. I'd probably buy all the models of some random line of bikes, like every RD through the years and ride em back to back to see how they improved or not. I'd probably buy the odd silly expensive race or snazzy limited edition as well, but really I'd revel in doing my own 'tests' Oh and yes My mechanic(s) would do the work and have whatever i wanted ready to ride when i wanted it. I'd probably have a full time tame painter on site so I didnt have to deal with the painters locally lol. I'd spend my time buying and riding bikes not working on em lol My mates would be welcome to come and have a go as well of course. So, I'd have to win quite a bit of moolah and build a facility about the same as Barber Motorsports in the USA, thats the blue print for what I'm thinking... www.barbermuseum.org/

I am surprised most have mentioned off the peg bikes?
I’d get them built to my spec. I don’t really like 4 stroke power delivery, and definately not engine braking; so I’d stick to 2 strokes.
Not even that keen on the 500’s other than kudos. Too complicated for the end result.
Imagine having a frame builder make a bike to your dimensions? I’m 6’4” which is why I like the RD range as they are physically bigger than later more exotic 250’s.
Engine too, start from scratch. I think I could easily spend £10k+ on an engine with the latest parts. Now I definately couldn’t afford that without a lottery win LOL.

2 votes for a Scott now. I seem to have my '27 Super Squirrel running OK now, so this very afternoon I'm going to attempt a 25 mile run to the local airport cafe.
Fingers crossed.
**Weather update. Now going tomorrow**

What is the Scott like to ride? Not easy. It has a 2 speed gearbox, combined with a foot clutch. The more you press it into gear, the more the clutch engages. It also has little in the way of brakes, minimal front suspension and rigid rear. Fun, in its own way, but I've never taken it on a busy dual cabbageway or into the city, stuck to the local lanes for now. Whizzes up to about 55 mph (no speedo, but the Mrs was following) and that's quite fast enough. More to come, but not with me onboard.

I would not want to ride it on a dual carriage way either. Saw a vid from Jay leno's youtube channel about his one, it is worth a watch . Always thought they were an interesting bike.

If I won the lottery I'd have something I could actually ride not some willy waving look at my wallet over expensive thing
So expensive but not in your face expensive
CBR600RR and have it fully blue printed and some Maxton suspension in a Repsol colour scheme so it looked std. I'd love on Ronax but that's just willy waving, so an RG500 in a Spondon or Maxton frame with some lovely suspension and brakes in Marco Luccninelli colours It might be a bit in your face but just for the hell of it a std looking 750 H2 Kawasaki in purple, with RWU forks with internals that worked and brakes that stopped you, a swingarm not made from cheese and a bit of extra welding on the frame.
And some of those Dainese air bag leathers as long as they didn't make me look like a power ranger

Always thought they were an interesting bike. His is a 3 speed flyer, conventional clutch and 3 speed box. Bigger brakes & forks, but heavier.
