Hi,
Can anyone measure a few things to do with an LC indicator pinch bolt please.
I have a pinch bolt here that measures 25mm from under the head of the bolt to the small shoulder before the M5 thread.
I have pattern indicators that measure 28mm high and a 3mm gap in the slot when unclamped.
That basically means the slot is fully closed up when the bolt is in.
Is this right?

Perhaps someone has a genuine indicator and they can see whether the gap is fully closed up.

No there should be a gap as the shoulder locks the nut

Pattern or genuine indicators should both have a gap

Pattern or genuine indicators should both have a gap Hi rich, How big do you think the gap is? Maybe 1mm? Jon

Stupid question, but you have got the rubber inserts fitted on the stalk / in indicator?
This would make a difference.

Yes rubbers are in.
Does anyone have a measurement of the bolt?
