Hello!

I'm having difficulty finding pistons for my RD250LC. Foreign web shops don't ship to my country, and bike shops in my country don't have pistons for the bike.

I am wondering whether there are pistons from a 125cc bike (54mm-55mm(max)-bore) that would fit on the RD250LC? Anyone have any experience with this? Stock DT125 bore is 56mm, same with the yz125's which is a bit of overkill for boring out the stock RD250LC cylinder.

I doubt that you will be able to buy new genuine Yamaha pistons and rings from a dealer now . I think that they are no longer available . They do come up on eBay now and again .
Why not try to source pattern items from somebody like PJME in Wolverhampton . They stock Mitaka piston kits as well as a wide range of pattern and genuine Yamaha spares . They also do international shipping . ( pjme.co.uk )
