Ah well! That is the likelihood of a 500 now completely out the window. Another dream dashed☹️

Prices may change soon, when furloughed "holiday" makers return from the beach, seafront, demonstrations, second homes, beauty spots, and a multitude of other gathering places, to a job that no longer exists because of redundancy. That's when the arse will fall out of everything. So, prices should fall as demand falls. The money tree's bough is breaking.......

I did think this Steve bit so far it appears that although technically we are in or approaching a recession prices are holding. If it goes tits up though there will be an absolute glut of bikes and parts.

Someone will be along soon to tell him that the crank seals will need doing I'm not so sure now about prices going down, when interest rates are at zero and the economy is in a mess, people look to put their money into physical assets, so there might be people in financial trouble who will let their bikes go cheap, but I don't think there will be any shortage of dealers or 'investors' looking to cash in on that and start hoarding bikes in their lock-ups until prices rise again. We might even see prices go up - if you've got money just sitting doing nothing in an account earning zero interest then people might be tempted to spend it on a bike(s) - especially if your mortality has just been put into question by a global health scare. I dunno if I'm in that mentality just yet but I've been looking at Desmosedici's, I don't know how long I have left on the planet (none of us do) and would I be glad to die with the money in the bank, or die having razzed a Desmosedici around the village for a few years before I go. Strange times, but I'm not sure I see a glut of 350LC's up for peanuts any time soon.
