Milo are you in the UK? I only ask as maybe if you’re not the email being from another country has gone into his spam folder. When I get foreign customers with overseas email providers sometimes they get sent automatically into spam folder. Yes I am from USA I told norbo to look in spam folder still no answer back going some where els I at least tried Maybe the penny will drop 1 day and Norbo will realise just how much business he is loosing because of the convoluted way you have to order.

I all ready know Tony . a click one would be hush better but i dont know how to make it and the shop has got massive over the years so would cost a fortune to get some once elce to do it and every item needs sizing and weight adding in to calculate posting . It would be a nightmare. I get told the same as i dont do cards as well and if i did e bay id double the stuff i sell all true . but its a cottage industry business personal and friendy i dont want to get big and get people in to do stuff and all that .

Good luck finding somewhere else with all parts you need in one shop, and the price for that is doing it the way Norbo does it! so what if its not an instant transaction .IMO it separates the wheat from the chaff

Thanks but it is a bit of hassle i cant disagree .I do under stand . I dont think its a lot to do just mail me the order with price and ill tell you the post thats it, unless its over water then ill give the box info and they arrange pick up . Then just send a pay pall with the list in the message box . Once you have done it once its no problem. A click to basket is simpler but i dont have that so theirs no arguing thats its more trouble i just dont think its that mush trouble.

There are a lot of people out there that are not that clever shall we say and people that have difficulty understanding the way it works, including myself, I have bought from Norbo, but I am wondering all the time till I get my parcel, has it all gone through right, did I pay the right amount, did I pay enough paypal fee, is the price correct at time of purchase, when is it going to arrive, did I give address, did I order everything I wanted, will everything I ordered turn up, its all a worry that makes me go elsewhere sometimes, personally I would prefer a basket, but if that is not the way Norbo wants to run this, then that's up to him.
There are lots of wonderful things on the shop site, and some are at great prices, I am not in any way putting that down, its just the ordering process I don't like and many others are of the same mind.
Sorry!! but its just my opinion.

If i can do it anyone can, yes it’s easier on eBay but once done you will wonder what all the fuss is about. I know it’s old fashioned but a pen and paper and all your needed info on one page with the steps to apply it, try it. At least do a small test purchase.

I have bought LC parts from Norbo on many occasions, I usually collect them at his home. In one respect you are luck as EVERY time I go round I ALWAYS spend a lot more than intended. He has a massive collection of parts, always keen on the price and very helpful. Yes it may be an issue not being able to order direct from the website but I think like many others on this forum I wouldn't want it any other way call me old school.

I understand what UK buyers are saying but once you’ve done it once it’s OK,overseas can’t comment but would agree it’s a harder but the one thing you are getting is the bloke knows what his doing. I reckon if he had to pay add to basket he would need to pay them ,pickers, dispatchers customer service All people need paying and that costs, Cottage industry to me one bloke trying to make a livid No doing what he does best. Once again me drinking beer spouting nothing I know about. +1 for Norbo

I'm in Sydney Australia and have had lots of parts from Norbo over the past 5 1/2 years, larger orders I've had to organise a courier through parcel monkey, but if I can do it, it's fair to say anyone can, smaller orders like a padded bag Norbo just let's me know how much for post, everything's always showed up usually in around a week which is not bad, always well packed and he's great with good advice for a novice like me too Cheers Steve

I pratcially built my LC from NORBO's site.... I used pen & paper for a list and prices then simply e-mailed him with the list he then replyed with a total cost with the P&P
easy peasy

Stupid question I know, however have you got Norno's email address spelt correctly
He's generally pretty quick to reply, your (and my) timezone is often an issue too
I've chatted to him via email and on the phone a couple of times with no issues at all
You have'nt upset him lol

I'm a bit spoilt here. I email him what I want then ring him up and arrange to collect from his base as he lives about 20 miles from me. He is a top bloke and very knowledgeable and passionate about LCs. I buy all my parts from him.
