I know it’s more complicated maths than I’m asking, but as a rough guide what does say 5mm of increased ride height equate to at the wheel spindle?

Think it's about an inch

I’m thinking maybe a 160/70 tyre as opposed to a 160/60 will also give me another 16mm.

Sorry, should have said, it makes all the difference to the original question maybe.
It’s a spread LC.

Ok
As a rough calculation if you measure the distance from the pivot to the shock mount and the pivot to the rear spindle then look at the ratio between them you can calculate the height difference
As in if it is 3 times greater your 5mm equates to 15mm ride height change

Has anyone got a picture of a 160/70/17” tyre fitted. Does it look too balloon like? Seems to be on more touring models for extra comfort maybe? Jon

I’ve had another look today, and I’m not happy.
While my current LC hybrid has slightly more rear ride height than a standard LC it’s nowhere near my first LC hybrid. I’m 6’4” so the ride height is important .
I’ve heard an RD125LC shock is 25mm longer? But can’t find a YSS one.
Does anyone know the length centre to centre of an 350LC and 125LC shock?
I will be phoning Nitron tomorrow to see if they can rebuild my unit longer.
