Last time I used the Parcelfarce pickup service when they were supposed to bring the label, they turned up at the seller's house without the label (the seller had waited in especially for the pickup). The Driver refused to take it because it wasn't labelled, then when I rung up customer services to sort it, they said that the time of day I'd booked it, it didn't leave enough time for the driver to print a label, so he just went without it so he could say he'd tried to collect.

Be aware of Parcel force as they do not cover automotive parts so if damaged or lost you get nothing
I use Interparcel and select the UPS option
As long as the sell will pack them and you can email them the labels

I used myhermes last week to collect a a set of exhausts from a private seller , he boxed them up and printed the lable off to attach , they arrived 3-4 days later perfect even though the seller didn't use enough packing.

Courier companies aren't bad...it's the couriers who deliver in your area that are either brilliant or complete bell ends. My Herpes was to deliver a parcel to me. I waited 2 weeks. And then the vendor got the parcel back. The courier claimed to have attempted delivery three times but failed to once leave a card saying he'd been. I use Royal Mail for everything these days. Parcel Farce for massive stuff.

Complete Morons lol I had an almost exact situation as Looey with parcelforce, paid for next day delivery, and it took them 3 attempts over 4 days to collect, driver didn’t bring the label, then when he did it was the collection address not the delivery, he told me he hadn’t got time ‘for all this’!, when I rang customer services they even acknowledged this particular driver has an attitude problem, but just rescheduled again. I’d rather walk the parcel there with a rusty nail in my shoe than use parcelfarce again.

Avoid ParcelFarce for bike parts. As others have said, they will not insure anything automotive related, no matter how small. I sold Bezzer a crank, which they managed to drop and bend the tapered end . A lot of courier firms have the same terms and conditions, so be very careful who you use. It's a minefield unfortunately. Some couriers are paid by the parcel - 50p a drop is not unknown, so that may explain their lack of care and patience, others can only go home once everything has been delivered. I've had deliveries at 7.30 at night before now ! A UPS driver's job is often advertised on Indeed locally - £10 an hour before stoppages !! Dusty

Dusty I've been using MyHermes a lot as I can't get out the house often. I've had great service but had a shock when I read the small print over what they wouldn't cover. I sent an old laptop to someone in Sweden and MyHermes wouldn't cover any damage to it going by their T&C's. So, definitely read the small print!

So i had to organise some stanchions from Norbo last week, I'd never done it before, so actually rang Norbo from Aus, to see how to do it
I clicked on the Parcel Monkey tab, put in the dimensions and weight of the parcel and got a price, compared it to the other link
I chose the quote from Aust Post, and I got an email from Parcel 2 go, who Norbo tells me are Hermes agents, alarm belles started ringing, however low and behold my stanchions arrived safe and well a week later, Norbo kept in contact and advised what paperwork i needed , which was duely emailed to him and it was all pretty painless
I ad another parcel sent from US by USPS it was picked up Jan 13 from the supplier, on the 14th it arrived in Newark via Jamaica NY, 14th arrived New York, 25 left New York,26 arrive back Jamaica NY then back to Newark, departed LA on 27th, arrived in Perth, where I live on 29, departed Perth 29th, arrive in LA on 30Th, departed LA on 30th,arrived in Sydney 1/2 and finally got to me on 7/2
go figure
