Hi all, I'm a newbie to the forum so please be gentle I was just wondering if there were any significant differences between the two (Canadian v UK) as there are with some German models which are restricted? Many thanks Steve

lack of PASS function, but full power models. Thanks, I've had a number of Kawasaki Zeds over the years and they are the same, I wonder why our friends over the pond don't like the pass function??

Yeh, if BARE is anything to go by, there generally more delicate, whiny & moan at the slightest..and thats just the owner , not the gearbox. All tongue in cheek mate...

The back of the parts catalogues often details the different parts for different markets.

That's a very helpful site thanks, 47 horses same as UK! Actually it was ~ 37 Hp.. off the sales floor (independant Dyno Testings.. exploring the veracity of Yama claims... back in the day) CDN models got a Kickstand switch in '82 and lacked the small extra light bulb in the headlight bucket.

Thanks Bare, I assume it'll need a complete headlamp unit to get it through the MOT anyway?

No. A bit of leccy tape will do. My MOT tester put some on for me when he checked the lights.

I tend to buy a used headlight of something like an xv then knock the glass and the deflector over the bulb then take the glass out the donor unit and silicone it in Steve
