Hello guys, I know it's been a while since I last posted, one divorce later ! I'm now back on the RD rebuild and I have more dumb questions. The engine is pretty much done, just need to sort the carbs out.
Anyway I have all three matching locks ( ignition, tank and seat ) but no key.
This is a 350R and does not have a code under the barrel, does anyone have any idea where else I would find that key / lock number ?
Cheers.

Not sure TBH
A locksmith can key things alike fairly easily, you will pay for the privilege though
The type of cross-section shape (say A,D or C profiles), at least in my experience, is more easily determined by the seat lock as it is the easiest to pull apart
I've got few two key systems, however was fortunate to pick up a set keyed alike a short time back
I'd get a quote from the locksmith and compare with what you can buy for online, you could always sell the other set to help pay for the "newer" one
Whereabouts are you located?
I'm thinking Canada, US, Aus, Japan or S America as you mentioned RZ350R, or you could be in the UK with an imported bike

As said you can take one lock off and get a key sorted
The problem is the seat lock, tank cap and helmet lock need to be open to be removed
Someone like Simon wells should be able to take the ignition switch to bits and work out the key number by the tumblers

It's an RD350r 1993 brazil model ( in the UK ) I've got the ignition barrel and seat lock off, but the tank is locked.
Who's Simon Wells, do you have any contact details please ?
Thanks.
